On Saturday, September 11, 2010, Billy Larson will be teaching a combination choreographed to memorialize the bravery and sacrifices made by the 9/11 first responders. Dancers of all ages are welcome to participate in this special event hosted by East Coast Movement. The event profits will be contributed to Performing Hearts for the benefit of children's charities serving the families of 9/11 victims.
The new ECM fall schedule features many new classes including the TADA Collection, Me and My Toddler, Broadway Bound, Acro and much more! Also new for this fall -- ECM has joined Synergy Dance Alliance, continuing our tradition of making the best teachers and choreographers in the area available to our dancers and their guests. Our next in-studio tour/registration date is Tuesday, August 31, from 3 to 9pm.

Broadway Bound is an exciting new program led by professional actors Sandy Taylor and Danny Arnold and teacher/choreographer Alisa Rubbone. During the fall and spring terms each year Broadway Bound will work with your children on developing their skills in voice, acting and dance. Theatre Arts Dance America (TADA) was founded in 1997 by Soloists and Principal dancers of ABT (American Ballet Theatre) Buddy Balou’ and Elaine Kudo, with the goal of providing exceptional and proper dance training in an inclusive nurturing environment in New Jersey. Buddy and Elaine, with their rich history of children and adult education and performance in Verona have joined with ECM in Totowa, NJ to bring you The TADA Collection.
ECM is proud to announce its sponsorship of this exciting new program being introduced in collaboration with Performing Hearts. Starting this fall, ECM will host classes and provide instructors for the physically and mentally challenged children in our area. The classes will include creative rhythm movement to Broadway music and pop-chart favorites. Styles will include elements of ballet, jazz and percussive dance and the use of props.
